Darjeeling Blend Silverhill Indian black tea (Tips &Buds)

It is a product of mixing Darjeeling black teas and is also available in a 100gr package under our brand name "Tips & Buds".

It is an affordable Darjeeling quality with an intense aroma and a floral flavor, followed by a mild spicy aftertaste.

For the grading of tea leaves and infusions from Assam and Darjeeling, an international nomenclature has been established, using the following initials: S, F, T, G, F, O, P.

This particular blend is classified as TGFOP.

The letters T and G stand for Tippy (from the tips) and Golden, referring to the quality of the leaves that are harvested — specifically, the unopened buds covered with a golden or silvery down.

The F stands for Flowery, indicating the distinctively strong and floral aroma of the tea.

Finally, the letters O (Orange) and P (Pekoe) denote the second and third leaves, which are also very tender and have an amber hue.
