Matcha

Ingredients/Tools

-Matcha powder: 1.5 – 2g, -Teaspoon (measuring spoon), -Warm water (not boiling, around 50-60°C), -Whisk  or a simple stirrer, -Bamboo strainer, -Bowl, -Whisk holder

Preparation method:

Warm the water, ensuring it's around 50-60°C.

Sift about 1.5-2g (1 teaspoon) of matcha powder into a bowl using a sieve.

Pour about 70-100 ml of warm water over the powder.

Use the whisk or stirrer to whisk the powder and water using "w" motions, not circular ones, creating foam on the surface. Typically, whisk for 30 seconds.

Once you have the desired texture and foam, you can serve it in a cup and enjoy! You can add any milk you like, warm or cold water, sweeteners, etc.

Enjoy!
